I chose the number 2160 because it is the altitude of the source of the Douro River, which runs from Spain to Portugal, dividing into 2 distinct banks, Douro Superior, Cima Corgo and Baixo Corgo, from which the grapes for this wine are selected. All the grapes come from high altitude, and the whole Douro has the Serra de Urbión as its mother. I wanted to show the versatility of the fruit and the freshness of the altitude, where acidity becomes the backbone of these wines. Built on primary fruit notes and secondary notes from fermentation and 4 days of skin contact, but above all on getting to grips with this magnificent region that is the Douro.
